Day 2 – 31 March 2021
Dr. Ruediger Brandt, Vice president sales and business development ETCS (Siemens Mobility Mainline Rail Automation) and Member of the Unife ETCS Steering Committee (European Rail Industry Association), will speak on Day 2 of the congress regarding: The Future of ERTMS.

The presentation provides an inside into the early expectations in an unified European Train Control System and where it stands today in regards of interoperability and specifically in regards of becoming the base for railway innovations: Automatic driving, high-performance signalling implementations with virtual blocks or Moving Block, reduction of infrastructure costs thru centralization and operation w/o signals and further digitalized processes in design, operation and maintenance. The presentation will give an outlook to gain harmonized European specifications and the realistic vision of a Single European Rail Area (SERA).”
Day 3 – 1 April 2021
Our Data Analyst and front-end developer Danny Meringa and Emilio Tuinenburg, who is responsible for digital transformation within Siemens Mobility in the Netherlands, will speak on Day 3 of the congress regarding: Combining rolling stock and infrastructure data to optimize availability.
